Citroen has made every effort to make its all-electric C3 Aircross accessible, featuring an 83kW/113bhp electric engine and 44 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphat battery that provide ample performance (over 300 km of range) without breaking the bank.
In contrast to its predecessor, the new C3 Aircross is longer and wider, which has allowed manufacturers to add an extra row of seats – turning this five-seater into a seven-seater for the first time ever in this segment.
This model offers increased cargo space than its predecessor, with capacity rising to 410 litres in You and Shine Plus versions. This provides plenty of room to carry a full-sized buggy or bicycle; and its rear bench can even be adjusted to minimize load lip height or create more room for taller items.
Within its cabin, PSA aims for an effortless driving experience, which should be enhanced by PSA’s latest PF1 platform and its flexible suspension system.
France, where government aid is excluded, starts at EUR23,300 for You and EUR27,800 for Max; Italy offers leasing with prices beginning from EUR49 per month in You finish and including a charging wallbox.

The electric e-C3 Aircross will feature a 44kWh battery pack capable of propelling it at 145kmph and covering 300 km on one charge. A DC fast charger can take only 26 minutes to charge the car from 20 to 80 per cent while it also works with AC chargers at home.
Citroen hasn’t released pricing or specifications of their e-C3 Aircross yet, but we estimate the entry-level model could cost about PS25,000 with cruise control and air-conditioning included; more expensive variants might include rear parking cameras, LED lights and leather seats.
There will also be petrol engines available, in addition to hybrid and electric powertrains. The entry-level turbo petrol model will produce 101bhp from its three-cylinder PureTech unit while meeting Euro 7 emissions standards paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Citroen has proven adept at differentiating itself from competitors in the small SUV market by adding unique quirks that set their vehicles apart from others.
