This week’s Heeramandi cast visit of the chat show proved to be a memorable and entertaining event! Here’s a recap of all that went down on that episode!
Kapil Show | Mary Kom
This episode begins with Kapil asking his audience about their New Year Resolutions and speaking about beauty – including how life changes when exposed to beautiful women. While speaking, an unimpressed girl arrives drenched in rain at his house; Kapil immediately starts flirting with her; but ultimately she leaves without being impressed. Later Rani Mukherjee joined to promote her movie Mardaani.
Kapil then cracked jokes about news channels and their increasing commercialization, followed by an animated skit which left everyone in laughter. Finally, he welcomed world-class badminton player Saina Nehwal along with her eccentric family; the rest of this episode focused on them!
Kapil then discusses Bittoo’s sister and her desire for revenge from his family for allowing him to go to jail, and about his Dadi continuing to speak of her inability to have children. Later, Ileana D’Cruz and Shahid Kapoor took the stage to promote their forthcoming film Phata Poster Nikla Hero.

Mary Kom, Sania Mirza and Sift Kaur Samra bring sports luminaries such as Mary Kom, Sania Mirza and Sift Kaur Samra onto The Great Indian Kapil Show for its latest episode and their banter with host Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek Archana Puran Singh Sunil Grover was electric!
The trio brought energy and charm to every scene on the show; Sania and Kapil’s comedic acting roles as mother-in-law and daughter-in-law were unstoppable!
Kapil asked Sania about all of her gold medals won during her career and her response was “I have won so much gold that I cannot even go shopping for jewellery anymore!” This caused a great deal of laughter among audience members.
Kapil reminded Sania that Shah Rukh Khan had expressed interest in playing her love interest if ever a film on her life were ever produced, to which she replied with laughter that Shah Rukh Khan “never wanted anything with my love interest”.
When reminded that Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao promoted their new film Mr and Mrs Mahi during the show’s episode Janhvi Kapoor had told her mother to switch from badminton to tennis as it would generate more income compared to playing badminton! Additionally, Janhvi Kapoor joined Rajkummar Rao as they promoted their new film Mr and Mrs Mahi during this week’s Great Indian Kapil Show airing every Saturday 8 PM on Netflix with Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao also participating.

This week’s episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show boasts an array of guests. This week on The Great Indian Kapil Show, sportswomen Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal, Mary Kom and shooter Sift Kaur Samra joined host Kapil Sharma to bring us an afternoon full of sports-based laughs and inspiration – from childhood games to Olympic finals experiences, these women inspire admiration and pride from every Indian while leaving us in splits with their wit!
Kapil’s banter with four athletes was filled with humor and camaraderie, prompting clever responses from each of them. Mary Kom and Saina Nehwal particularly excelled when discussing their philosophies for living.
One highlight of the episode was when sports icons shared their inspirations; all cited German tennis legend Steffi Graf as one of their major influences; this created a sense of camaraderie among women athletes, evident in the new teaser promo.
