Bollywood actor Salman Khan is well-known for giving others in his circle a boost, such as Sonakshi Sinha when she made it big in Dabangg and went on to promote other movies like Rakta Charitra and Sadiyaan. Now, Salman seems ready to help out his brother Luv Sinha with his next project; recently debuting this year with Boundaries Divide but failing to impress audiences or critics; sources indicate Luv will receive much-needed assistance through Salman Khan Productions.
Sonakshi Sinha’s engagement to Zaheer Iqbal has caused much discussion, as fans question his absence at the ceremony and reports suggested his mother Poonam Sinha was unhappy about the choice of partner she has given Sonakshi. Additionally, some Reddit users have observed that both Luv and Poonam do not follow Sonakshi on social media such as Instagram.

On Thursday afternoon in Mumbai’s Bandra area, father and daughter duos were spotted outside her residence. Though she declined to pose for photographers, her father stood by his daughter while being welcomed by well-wishers. She looked chic in an ivory-hued saree with floral embroidery which she paired with striped blouse and accessorised with gold bangles, studded earrings, and an embellished necklace featuring precious stones layered necklace. To complete her look she chose simple hairdo and light makeup application to complete her look.

Sonakshi Sinha took an exciting new step in her life when she married longtime love Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday at her home. The Heeramandi actress tied the knot with the cricketer during a private ceremony accompanied by both sets of parents: Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha were present as witnesses, Sonakshi looked stunning in a red Banarasi saree while Zaheer complemented her look by wearing white kurta-pyjama. Following their ceremony they hosted a reception party at Mumbai Bastian Restaurant which saw many celebrities.
Sonakshi can be seen walking towards her husband while covered by a traditional ‘phoolon ka chaddar’ held up by friends – Saqib Saleem in particular was holding one end – as she shed tears of happiness on their big day. Sonakshi and Zaheer both made their Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s production, Dabangg. Soon thereafter, the two worked together on 2022 film Double XL where they proved to be quite the hit on-screen as well as being regulars at events and parties together (even attending each others birthday parties and award ceremonies!). Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s long-awaited wedding has finally taken place! On June 23, they officially tied the knot in a registered ceremony at Sonakshi’s Bandra apartment in Mumbai before hosting an extravagant reception party that is set to draw many of Bollywood’s elite.
Though rumors were swirling that Shatrughan Sinha may have expressed reservations regarding the interfaith wedding of his daughter, on her big day he was all smiles and even posed for photos with both bride and groom for paparazzi coverage.
He further tweeted, “My daughter’s love story is truly lovely and her choice of partner even better. I am immensely proud to call Sonakshi my daughter; you make me feel truly lucky to be your father. Best wishes always for both of you!”

Shatrughan Sinha had previously expressed in an interview his preference that his daughters ask his permission prior to marrying, but was overjoyed when they found out their daughter would marrying a Muslim man.
Sonakshi Sinha’s family and close friends took to social media to mark her special day with the bride and groom, with Sonakshi herself taking to the platform to tag friends and congratulate them for their new journeys. One picture went viral showing Sonakshi walking beneath a canopy of flowers called a phoolon ka chaddar with her close companions; actor Saqib Saleem held one end of it!
Sonakshi’s brother Luv was not present at her wedding ceremony, sparking speculations he may have declined due to displeasure over Sonakshi’s choice of partner. Later however, actor John Cho spoke up in defense of himself from being labeled as coward; and stated he has every right and will attend regardless of any situation or conflict that arises with regards to attending her ceremony.
