Ravindra Jadeja is one of the most experienced members of India’s bowling attack, having taken part in over 100 Test matches since debuting. India Bowling Attack Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep Singh created history when he became the first Indian bowler ever to take a wicket on his inaugural delivery at the T20 World Cup, sending USA opener Shayan Jahangir plumb out front with an outstanding strike of bowling.
India’s young left-arm seamer has been an impressive performer in T20 cricket, and made his ODI debut against England in 2022. Although wicketless in his first three matches against England and South Africa respectively, his phenomenal spell against South Africa in which he took five wickets helped India restrict the Proteas to just 116 runs during their innings was an eye opener for India and proved its value as a match-winner for them both.
Arshdeep has taken 62 wickets in 44 T20I appearances for India and led their T20 squad in scoring an economy rate of 8.77 in three matches of Indian Premier League action with Punjab Kings, becoming their leading wicket-taker with eight wickets from three matches at an excellent strike rate.
20-year-old Mandeep hails from Mohali, Punjab. He has two siblings including an elder brother named Akashdeep who lives in Canada. Mandeep often posts pictures of his family on Instagram; Darshan Singh works for the Central Industrial Security Force Guna and his mother is a housewife; Darshan expressed his joy over Mandeep being selected for the T20 World Cup.
