Childhood and Formative Years

Faruqi was born on January 28, 1992, in Junagadh, Gujarat, to a Muslim family of Gujarati descent. His childhood was marked by financial struggles as his father faced significant monetary losses and accumulated substantial debt. As a result, Faruqi’s education was cut short, and he was forced to drop out of school after completing only the 5th grade.

To support himself financially, he began working at a young age. As a child, he held a job at a gift store and also assisted his mother and grandmother in preparing and selling traditional snacks like samosas and chaklis. Tragically, his mother took her own life when he was just 14. Following her passing, he relocated to Mumbai at the invitation of his aunt. There, he took on various temporary jobs to make ends meet. Sadly, in 2020, his father passed away after struggling with paralysis.
