China Telecom and 3C certification sites recently published information about this device, revealing some of its specifications. It will come in Phantom Black, Wonderland Green and Moonlight White colors for consumers to select.

Honor is gearing up to release its Play series entry-level smartphone soon, and its presence was recently seen on China Telecom website and 3C certification listings, providing us with a glimpse of its design as well as key specifications.
It features six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two performance cores at 2.2GHz; further paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage which can be expanded using Virtual Memory Technology (VMT).
Honor Play 60 Plus will be released in Phantom Black, Wonderland Green and Moonlight White colors starting June 24th in China at an expected retail price of CNY 1,500 ($206). In addition to its premium design features and IP64 dust and water resistance certification.

Honor has introduced their mid-range smartphone Play 60 Plus featuring a 120Hz LCD, dual 50MP cameras and a massive 6000mAh battery capable of 35W fast charging. In addition, an AI video light enhances photography.
The camera offers multiple shooting modes and filters to give you plenty of creative options, including night mode for long exposure photos with vibrant details and deep colors, or recording 4K videos at 30FPS for smooth and blur-free footage. Furthermore, its lens has an aperture size of f/1.8 which helps ensure clear shots while its autofocus function detects faces instantly so as never to lose track of your subject matter.

Honor Play 60 Plus with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 will be an affordable 5G phone with an energy-efficient Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset manufactured on 4nm technology, pairing up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. 6000mAh fast charging is supported. Phantom Black, Wonderland Green and Moonlight White color options will be offered when released for sale in China; estimated pricing should be CNY 1,500 ($206).
The device comes equipped with a 6.77-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, featuring slim bezels and a large bottom chin with a punch hole to house its selfie snapper. On its rear is a dual camera setup consisting of one 50MP main sensor and one 2-megapixel depth sensor for creating bokeh effects.
The phone boasts many features, such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and IP64 water resistance. Furthermore, two nano-SIM cards can be supported and it supports 5G on band n1 (2100), n5 (850), n28a (799) and n41 (900) while also supporting 4G VoLTE on all six bands of its network – making this handset extremely flexible and capable. In addition, Android 14 with MagicUI comes preloaded.

It boasts an HD display resolution of 720×1610 pixels protected with Corning Gorilla Glass while offering an impressive 120Hz refresh rate – quite a high number for budget smartphones!
The Honor Play 60 Plus will come in Phantom Black, Fairy Green and Moonlight White colors with Android 14 running under Magic OS. China Telecom will offer it at an initial starting price of CNY 1,500 (around $206); we expect its international price tags will likely be higher.
