Honor is gearing up to release its Play series entry-level smartphone soon, and its presence was recently seen on China Telecom website and 3C certification listings, providing us with a glimpse of its design as well as key specifications.

It features six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two performance cores at 2.2GHz; further paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage which can be expanded using Virtual Memory Technology (VMT).

Honor Play 60 Plus will be released in Phantom Black, Wonderland Green and Moonlight White colors starting June 24th in China at an expected retail price of CNY 1,500 ($206). In addition to its premium design features and IP64 dust and water resistance certification.

The device comes equipped with a 6.77-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, featuring slim bezels and a large bottom chin with a punch hole to house its selfie snapper. On its rear is a dual camera setup consisting of one 50MP main sensor and one 2-megapixel depth sensor for creating bokeh effects.

The phone boasts many features, such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and IP64 water resistance. Furthermore, two nano-SIM cards can be supported and it supports 5G on band n1 (2100), n5 (850), n28a (799) and n41 (900) while also supporting 4G VoLTE on all six bands of its network – making this handset extremely flexible and capable. In addition, Android 14 with MagicUI comes preloaded.
